The Horrendous Pounding

An exceptionally loud pulsating sound from an apartment nearby can be extremely frightening. We all hope that the situation has a safe end.

I couldn’t escape from the deafening pulsation. 

I saw the curtains swaying from the vibration. 

What is causing this horrendous pounding?

What can anyone do to stop the thumping?

I screamed to drown out the thunderous throbbing.

I stomped on the floor to force the end to the booming.

Why won’t my neighbor end the earsplitting beat?

Don’t they realize that no one wants to compete?

I will need to go down there and pound on their door.

I hope that there will not be a shouting war.
